Just back from the City, and couldn't believe when I drove just past Tuam, almost 3cm lying here. Roads fairly clear though, but roofs, grass and cars all covered. Only a very slight covering in Tuam (where it was snowing lightly), and more patchy towards the city. This is my second day of snow lying this April, but still pretty crap to be honest as compared to 3 years ago.

Temp 0.6c still above freezing, but with a moderate wind it feels cold. 87%rh with pressure 1011.0 mb with a falling trend.

Snowing again:) Temp remains stubbornly above freezing though, and lying snow is slowly but surely melting. 0.7c. / 88%rh / D.P -1.1c. Like Trodgar yesterday, I now have an official white birthday..:) as I had this day 3 years ago, only it was a far superior event than this.

Snowed very heavily here on and off for a good while over the past few hours making a winter wonderland.
Theres a good inch on the tarmac outside and on the road but theres about 2 inches on top of the car!

Good covering of snow here from last nights precip. Will post pics later.
From looking at the radar, it looks like it just missed Dublin Airport on a SW track and got heavier over Wicklow/Wexford. Funnily enough, Djouce is snow free. The precip must have just missed it.

Yet again a North Easter delivers for (some of) us on the east coast.

Was up at 5am this morning to go to the airport. What seemed like rain droplets on the car had all frozen solid. Really difficult to get the door open!

Minimal convection around today due to cloud cover so no repeat of yesterdays episode's unless the cloud clears.
Had a few light showers here moving onshore in the last hour but nothing to write home about.
Feels alot colder than yesterday.
