    The bro got Campag Xenon on his new bike. From what I can see, it is similiar enough to Shimano Sora in terms of the levers on the handlebars and the manner in which you change gear. What about the higher end Campag groupsets? Take Chorus, do the levers operate in the same manner as 105/Ultegra? I.e. two big levers on each side that can be changed from the drops?

    It's the same on all Campag shifters - upshift with the shifter behind the brake lever, downshift with the lever on the side.

    They're all more or less the same. There's only one small difference in that Chorus and Record both allow for multiple upshifts on the rear cassette. Essentially you can go down the most of the cassette with one lever throw. Xenon up to Centaur are like Shimano systems, one upshift at a time.

    Edit: Shoud clarify that this is true about the current Campagnolo groups. There was a time when they all had multiple upshifts.
