Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Speeding Court Date.

    Hi there,

I got caught speeding over 5 months ago. Fair cop, I was overtaking 2 lorries on a stretch of good road having been stuck behind them for about 15 miles of twists and turns. I got clocked at 121 in a 100 zone. I never got a ticket in the post and got a summons yesterday for a court date in July, midweek, about a hundred miles from where I work. I am self employed. I have a few questions and would really appreciate any help/advice.

What is the penalty for this?
What happens if I don't show up?
Is there any way out of going to court?
If I go to court is there any way I can beat this?
Will they believe I never got a penalty point notice?
    Will it matter anyway?

So bloody annoyed. If I had gotten a ticket I would have paid it, no qualms. Now I have to take a day off and waste it.

    Thanks!
    Gumby.
