Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Intresting situation, Man dies leaving some property and has two families first wife died some time ago, children all established, second wife and young family remain in the family home.

I am interested in what should happen in that situation, I have another question but I think it goes to far towards advice so I wont ask it.

If it happened today, the wife is entitled to half and the children are entitled to half, shared equally. It might be open for the court to weight the distribution towards the younger children.

I have no idea about 1902.

Incorrect. Today the wife would get two-thirds and the children one-third shared equally. It is governed by Section 67 of the Succession Act.
