About 45 Mins, maybe more depending on traffic.

Drive out of the city towards cork (Past hasbro etc), continut through the Outer ring road roundabout, past the Holy Cross, through Kilmeaden, along by the Kilmac Bypass, through Lemybrien and all the way through to dungarvan (pretty much a straight run from the city). Once you come to the first roundabout in dungarvan take the second exit, over the bridge, take the second exit on the next roundabout too. Continue on to the next roundabout and take the first exit, follow this road up and it will take you to the parking area outside the centre.

I presume thats the SC your on about (unless somewhere new has opened recently ?)

There is only one. It is very straight forward to get to it. Go straight and take the 2nd exits on any roundabouts and then turn left at the Park hotel roundabout.

I'm looking for the shopping centre that has a music store called Heartbeat City, so if there's only one that must be it then, many thanks!

Yeah thats the right one then. Heartbeat it just past Dunnes and opposite the Zumo Smoothie place.

You sound like you don't know Dungarvan, so if the Park Hotel roundabout isn't 'landmark' enough for you go straight through (second exit) each roundabout until you get to McDonalds, and their distinctive Golden Arches, and take the first exit at that roundabout.
It's hard to get lost really - even if you park in the square the shopping centre is only a hundred yard walk away.
