Data Execution Prevention

Im just after downloading MSN Messenger for my Vista laptop for some reason it wont start. I get a message saying data execution prevention has prevented this program from running. I tried turning off data execution prevention for messenger but it said it couldnt be turned off for that program. Any ideas?

Whats really confusing is that I had it on my laptop before without any problems but I had my harddrive replaced and now this is happening

where did you download it from?
maybe its an old version or something malicious?

The site looks fine. Right click on the exe, click properties and there should be an option to unprotect the file.

I found an option to "run this file as an administrator" it worked thanks.
