    Hi folks,

    Putting a PC together, and just wondering what kinda results you guys are getting with different graphics/montor combinations?

    It's mostly gonna be a gaming PC...

    Cheers!

    As a rough guideline

    9600gt = 19"

    8800gt = 20" or 22"

    8800gts/9800gtx = 22"

    9800gx2/ Sli of 8800gt etc = 24" and above...

    weet, mucho appreciated,

    looking at 22 or 24"...
    The Samsung LCD monitors seem to be pretty good value,

    So Squall, hows about cooling on thos cards? Is there any extra precautions that should be taken or os the onboard fan good enough?

    Last time I checked 20" and 22" monitors ran at the same resolution.

    @Einstien - The coolers that come with it would be fine. You'd only need to change them if you want to overclock.

    I would go with..

    9800gtx €240 with 22"

    2 x 8800gt €320 with 24"

    If you go with a 24" screen - look for one with 1:1 pixel mapping. If you want to/have to run a game at 'lower than native' resolution you'll have the option of running it stretched or with boarders with improved sharpness.
