Why is my broadband slow?

    I have the NTL 6mb. Mostly its fine, but quite often it just goes dog slow for no reason. The alst 2 days, at times pages at taking 20-30 seconds to appear, if at all.

    Downloading from a fast server like Rapridshare will max out my connection and get me 750kb/s - but just normal browsing is taking ages!

    Is there anything I can do about this?

    It sounds like a virus or malware.
    Have you done a deep scan lately?
