Oil and filter - how much?

    How much would you expect to may for a change of oil and filter? Got charged €70 in Cork... is this standard?

    Probably is, it's about 30 for the oil and filter (although the wholesale price would be less) and a half hour to do the job. Most garages are around the 70-80 mark per hour for labour.

    Cheers for the reply. Fair enough. Usually had the car looked after by my brother so first time going to an Advanced Pitstop. Was just afraid I had been ripped off.

    What kind of car, as it often has a bearing on the volume of oil, type of filter, etc.
