    Folks,

Im in the process of painting a new build and Ive noticed that even though Ive taped the windows, theres some emulsion paint on the wood. The windows are light oak effect PVC.

Is there any way to get this paint off without damaging the windows?

Just use one of those scrapers with a stanley blade in it, any good DIY store will sell them. Should do the trick.

But will the stanley blade not scrape into the window frame?

If its just emulsion paint, a little scrubbing with a cloth (or a kitchen scrubber) will get rid of it. Emulsion paint is water based and will easily come off so there's no need to use a scraper as that would damage your windows.

I don't use masking tape anymore as by the time you put the stuff on, you'd have painted around the windows at that stage. Any overspill onto the actual window is easily removed as stated above. BTW, I've got the same windows as you and paint easily wipes off them.
