Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just wondering if people are interested in compiling an Eircom League ground guide which will include directions, parking etc. Maybe the mods would then make it a sticky so people could use it to get to away grounds and know in advance where to park, drink and enjoy the games.

I was hoping of doing something similar to it. Would be handy for people to get a quick guide and directions.

I'm sure with the amount of LoI fans on here we could compile one.

    Waterford RSC
    Cork Road, Waterford.

    Getting there:

From North/East: Go across Rice Bridge entering Waterford City. Keep in left lane as you come across and when travelling along the quay proceed to the traffic lights by the Tower Hotel in the right hand lane. Continue on N25 towards Cork Road roundabout and take 2nd exit, RSC is 50 yards ahead on left hand side.

From West: Continue on N25 entering Waterford City. Proceed past WIT on left hand side and continue for 2km. RSC is then on your right hand side.

    Parking:

At the moment because of construction of the new stand, parking is restricted to players, officials and press. Parking is still available in PC World, World of Wonder and Superquinn all located around the Regional Sports Center.

    Food & Drink

Eddie Rocketts & McDonalds are located on the N25 about 500 yards from the venue. Inside the RSC is a portable chip van which will serve the usual chips & burgers.

Just wondering where the entrance is for UCD. I know where the ground is, (number 10 bus up to UCD itself right?) But how do you get into the stadium?

Most of the clubs websites have directions to the grounds on them.

Longford Town FC directions are pretty well done on their website

If you want to suggest where to eat before hand, if you want fast food then there can only be the one and only Luigis (Maint St.) or for a nice pizza deli burger (Ballymahon ST.) is the place to go.

For something a bit nicer theres the Black Olive or Aubergine restaurant, both in the town on Ballymahon Street.

Nice pub with decent food if you go past the ground and accross the river, its on the banks.
