6Mb NTL Broadband in Kilbarrack

    Hi Guys,

    NTL rang me yesterday to say broadband was available in the area for €23 per month for the 6Mb line. This seems to good to be through considering that I have been paying €45 for a 1Mb line from Smart (I'm too far from the exchange for faster speeds).

    Does anyone have any experience of the NTL line and service? Any reason I shouldn't go for it?

    Their customer care is woeful but the service is pretty good.

    €23 doesn't sound right though, it's probably an offer price.

    according their website is 39 yo-yos a month EXTRA, but the offer price is 20 a month (extra). I already pay 20 odd a month for the TV so that would make it 60 a month. having said that, its 6 X faster than the smart line I have
