    Hi
I have a problem with two window sills, The inside of the sill is Wet & damp. This is very bad when we have heavy rain & wind. Recently I knocked off the hardwall & mortar under the window as it was falling off. Then I could see the DPC coming straight in under the sill to just meet the hardwall. These sills were cast inplace when the house was built around 1970. I then drylined the wall but i now have a lot of dampness in the room ceiling & the Sill is wet. I have fitted new pvc dbl/g windows & the window man says that the wet is coming in through the sill along the DPC & rising up to the heat.
Has anyone got any idea how i can stop this,
How can I seal the sill outside to stop the water lodging inside on sill
    Regards
    Bobdebuilder
