    okay turns out im banned from Cool links, pics and vids

    Terry unjustly banned me for posting a link to rick-roll people.

    i hardly think its fair to get banned for that.some people may find it a cool link and its a video too.and i couldnt find anywhere in the Charter that says you're not allowed to Rick0Roll people on Boards.ie

    boo to you all.

    i only got rick-rolled for the first time yesterday.i didnt know how widespread it was so i posted it.it was innocent fun.wouldnt have minded if i had got an infraction but a 2 week ban is a bit over the top

    An infraction means you might have done something silly again. I'm pretty sure a ban means you wont.

    heard someone in my office get rickrolled on friday. Muppet had left their speakers on full....made me laugh despite my hatred of it.

    the thing is that you actually got me Sherifu.

    at least it wasnt as bad as mine.the one i had was one the ones you can only get rid of through Task Manager.everytime you clicked the "x" on the main window an extra window popped up with the lyrics to the song...

    Well if that's true then that's the reason you got banned right there, not the rickrolling. Rickrolling could possibly be funny if it wasn't so stupid and way over done at this stage, but for posting shit like that Terry should not just have banned you but he should have gone to your house and shoved your modem up your ass.

    I don't really care about rickrolling, but that popup you can't close crap is the single worst thing you can do on the internet. Someone did it to me back in 1998 and I still haven't forgiven them *shakes fist*

    It's not cool it's a pain in the ass and irritating. I'm sure some people would consider donkey porn cool but does that mean it can be posted in cool vids, hell no.
