car kit - password?

    Im having trouble with my Sony Ericsson HCB-700, i've gotten a replacement phone and now it wont conect to the hands free.
    I tried looking to enter a password (not sure if i set one up but the installation guy might have). Does anyone know how to reset the password etc.

    Try the password 0000 (that's 4 zeros). This is the default password for most default devices which allow you to pair it with other bluetooth devices.

    try 1234 or 12345 if 0000 doesnt work.

    Have you tried a master reset on the HCB-700 and then re-pairing your new phone? This should work.
