    Well here is a measure of incompetence for you.


    The thread started in the TV forum (which seemed appropriate) titled

    Liam Brady has walked out of the champs league studio


    was moved to the soccer forum - fair enough - but then its closed after one post! Whether it was right to move it in the first place is another point but why move it to its apparent proper forum and then have a mod (who comes across as over zealous at the best of times) close it after just one post!


    The words - 'mods', 'piss up' and 'brewery' come to mind naturally :rolleyes:

    Funny those words...we did organise one.

    It may have been the right forum but that doesn't mean the content is ok.

    My own opinion on that thread is it was a big mess and gonna cause trouble/bans in soccer if it wasn't locked. You can say things on television that you can't in soccer. And the post after it was moved proved this and was the reason it was closed imo.

    It was more suited to the TV forum yet its moved to a forum less suited due to its content already written and then closed.....bizzarre

    How is a thread about a commentator of a football match walking out of the studio anything to do with television? The thread was only ever going to be about what was said in the lead up (hence about the match, players, etc) and not about the production qualities of said walkout (my God did you see, they got a shot of the lights in while they followed him walking out - badly rehearsed that one).

    If that was the case why did it not stay open in the 'soccer' forum? Perhaps the mod who moved it moved it to the wrong forum? Mods never admit to do doing something daft. Its like pulling teeth (although im sure thats less painful). :pac:
