Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Story,

I recently bought my new 42 inch HD ready tele... and went to switch to the HDMI on my xbox av cable.... hooked up my cable directly to the back of the tv... set it to 1080i on the xbox.... and everything seem to be going well...

Turned on the xbox and everything looked clearer and sharper straight away.... EXCEPT the colours are all over the place? Example Tiger woods is f**king green ?????

So if anyone can shed a bit of light ill buy ye a pint.

    Thanks,
    Gareth.

Not much to tell you on this one Gareth - sorry!

Maybe buy an old 15" TV and get rid of the new one???

Did you check the settings on the TV?? You may also need to set the resolution on that.

No i dont think it the tele...

When ive switced back to "TV" on the AV cable... the colours are still f**ked up ....

Eveything was fine until i started messing around with the cables and settings..

Just disconnect the leads from the Xbox and TV and start again from scratch. These kind of things become a bit clearer when ya do them a second time.

Post up what TV you have Gareth, someone might be able to shed some more light on the subject that way.

had some issues with my last xbox 360 and the colours going funny , lime green , red lines going up and down on the screen etc... in games and on the dashboard . it was more of an intermittent problem but seemed to be occurring more and more frequent .

i tried both a component cable and a vga cable on two lcd tv's and i had the same problem on both tv's and with both cables.

in game call of duty image 1

in game call of duty image 2

some times when i would turn the 360 on the dashboard blades would be a lime green colour and stay that way for a few minutes and then go back to normal.

brought it back to hmv and got a replacment.

Are you using a HDMI connector or component cables?

I had this issue and I had a bogey av lead, new av cable sorted it!

Thanks to all who replied.... but as always... human error always wins/stupidity.

I didn't think the red cable was required at the back so i left it out, thought it was for audio and i already had a red to red in already.

So in a nut shell..... i plugged in "ALL" of the cables at the back except the yellow cable well because there is no yellow to yellow and all is ok now.

Massive difference in quality and sharpness.

    Thanks again. take care.
