crazy loaning price

    has anyone paid to "loan" a horse? more like a "lease" really but whatever.....
    somebody contacted me today about a horse they were loaning and they wanted €200 a week! :eek: they were selling the horse for €2k anyway so would have been making way more than that during the 3 months loan, plus I'd be paying for all the feed, hay, field rent etc. :rolleyes:

    Anyone else think this is ridiculous? If I had €200 a week spare I'd hardly be loaning a horse, I'd have some really nice sport horse sitting in the field lol.

    Eh, they're trying to find an eejit to rip off by the sounds of it. They are chancing their arm.
    Arrangements like that dont really exist.

    Wow thats steep! I didnt realise people charged for the privilege of loaning a horse, how much would you be willing to pay?

    15.3hh 12 yr old gelding I think they said he was.
