However when I searched on 7dayshop I found a PC6400 at a better price (I'm buying some other stuff from them too so it would work out cheaper overall)

Basically, my question is, will memory with a higher speed be compatible with a processor with a relatively low bus speed? I figured the ram speed would just be downclocked but I'm not sure.
