Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Skype on N95

    OK I upgraded the firmware on my N95 and I don't have Skype anymore. Does anyone have any idea how do I get this back?

    In the meantime I have downloaded Iskoot and using this at the moment, BUT I think I am paying 3 for connecting to this. Am I correct? Whereas using 3's Skype was free of any charge.

    Go into planet 3, then go to services, then internet and there should be a link to download it again somewhere....it's on the same page as you access gmail and you tube...

    and yes aim will use your data

    Thank you DrunkMonkey. But I do not even have Planet 3 on the phone. It wiped all the 3 apps of the phone. Can Planet 3 be downloaded again?

    Dummy: I don't think you can, it's not an application but a firmware that comes on 3 phones. I used to be able to access planet3 from a non 3 phone until a few weeks back then something changed, no idea what they did but it no longer works.

    Ok I logged on to https://my3.three.co.uk/mylogin//login?service=https%3A%2F%2Fmy3.three.co.uk%2Fmyaccount%2Findex.do
    and registered with 3 and low and behold the planet3 stuff is working again, it might be worth trying Dummy.
    Just as an after, when I connect using Wifi the Planet3 page won't open, but it opens if I use the 3 hsdpa/3G as my access point.

    Hi Dummy,

    You can get planet 3 working again no bother, If I had the phone in my hand i'd have it done in no time.....I might be wrong here but if I am just call 333 and get them to put you onto tech support....

    Go to Settings - Connection Setting - Access Points - Create a new access point 3 if it's not already there....

    You'll be given a few fields to fill in....

    Set it up like this...

    Connection name......3
    Data Bearer......Packet Data
    Access Point Name.....3ireland.ie
    Unsername....Leave Blank
    Password....Leave Blank
    Authentication.....Normal
    Homepage....http://mobile.3ireland.ie/hb/HutchKey

    Once you have that done....go into you normal menu...Click on the Globe...hit connect....bingo.....planet 3 should pop up for you now.......

    Let me know how you get on I might have forgotten something.....
