Beef Rib Recipie ideas?

    Hi all,

    I bought a piece of beef rib in the butchers. Its about a foot long with one large bone running along the length of the bottom. the meat above it is in 2 or 3 layers about 2 or more inches high.

    Any ideas on the best way to cook it? Recipies?

    ok. I braised it for 3 hours. Not a bad cut of meat but if I was cooking again that way I would just use the aul shin of beef.

    Swampy I had difficulty envisaging what cut you bought from the way you described it tbh. Pics next time? :) Or linkie me to some google pic that looks similar?
