Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It's a brilliant service, seems strange that Ninty got it

Considering it's the only one of the 3 without a harddrive, it's especially odd. Though, they are saying PS3 iPlayer is a possibility. Xbox is out it seems, Microsoft wants too much control.

Why doesn't RTE have a download service. We pay for the TV Licence too.

You can stream some stuff from the RTÉ site. I doubt they have the resources to create a full media player for DRM downloads like the BBC.

But they should at least gives us the ability to stream US shows. There shouldn't be much problem seeming they have the rights for the shows.

They may have rights to Broadcast the US Shows, but Internet rights are slightly different. ITV and C4 both have certain US Shows that they cannot stream or have available for download.

RTÉ do seem to be adding more stuff slowly - you can stream East Enders and Home & Away now (both of which aren't RTÉ produced shows).

I find it handy for the news and sports. Saves me having to walk all the way into the sitting room while I'm doing something in the computer room.:)
