hey all. i downloaded hotspot shield today. it's a wi-fi program, used as a shield in public networks. i was using it to obtain a US IP address to watch the golf online and it did the job well. BUT now i can't get online without using it. that's not really an issue for me, but it is for me housemate. she can't get online…

hey all.

i downloaded hotspot shield today. it's a wi-fi program, used as a shield in public networks. i was using it to obtain a US IP address to watch the golf online and it did the job well.

BUT

now i can't get online without using it. that's not really an issue for me, but it is for me housemate. she can't get online (on the same network) at all. we're both getting a connection and, bizaarely, my skype is working (but not firefox, IE or Google Talk).

anyone got any ideas?
