The blaze was reported just before midnight at Herons Hill, Knockduff in Tramore.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene by a doctor shortly after 1am.

A man in his 40’s is being treated at Waterford Regional Hospital for smoke inhalation.

I think she got out alive but went back in to save her dogs and unforunately did not make it back out alive.
