Is it cheaper to buy in sterling on your credit card from play.com

As the title says, the exchange rate is brilliant at the moment, so a game which is €55.99 from play.com is £39.99... but the real exchange rate price is €49.88!

So if I buy on my credit card and choose to pay in sterling, presume you can, then it would be cheaper?

    Cheers for replys!

they won't allow you to make an order if you're located in ireland and your currency is set as sterling, it sucks, but it was a whole load worse about 3 weeks ago, they rounded up like a mo'fo.
