Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I know I was pretty surprised myself. I think we'd all of had to hang our heads in shame if it hadn't been created before 3.

No problem, id say it could be a fairly forgetable game anyways! :)

Phil Bardsley just scissor chops Michael Johnson and gets away with a yellow card yet Keane still come sout of his dugout to abuse the ref. F*ckin hell I hate that guy. Bardsley could've walked FFS.

Sunderland playing well in the last 20 mins (all I've seen)... But it appears not one of them has a good first touch!

Wasn't a dive really. If it was then why did Nosworthy not say anything?

Because he was unaware that referee's are completely open to changing their minds once the offending player points out that he actually didnt do anything....?

Aye, his reaction said it all. Probably enough contact to bring him down.

God I hate Vassell....bottles his one on one, but still manages to scuff it in...then trots off with his arrogant head on him wagging his finger as if he's the man. And does the chap ever smile?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,727 ✭✭✭✭Sherifu

    Vassell's goal was comedy.

    Well done City :D

Lol knew you'd like that on Des.

It was a great finish. Faked the real shot to the near post then dragged it to the far. Fooled everyone.

Fulham and Bolton both won. they aren't safe yet!

Same lineup and formation is good to see, and the results around us (West Ham, Spuds and The Mackems) went well, so something to take advantage of.

But Pompey are a formidable side, and they certainly won't roll over like Reading or Fulham did. We'll need another performance like we put in against Spurs to get something here today.

    Howay the lads!

It's not the same line up, Steven Taylor's been brought in.

Delighted for Fulham today, can they still stay up?

    You have me there.

Speaking of Taylor, that would have been an outrageous goal for a CB!

0-0 About fair for the first half. Shutting out Defoe well and limiting them to long range shots. Oba seems to be proving a nuisance for Campbell. Middle of the park is where the battle is, and Butt is doing super again, although they are making it much harder to get triangles going than the last 4 sides we played.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a rake of yellows or even a red card, nobody is shirking a tackle.

    Defoe misses a sitter

Everton don't seem to want 4th place. Huge chance for them to make it with Liverpool progressing, and then they draw to Brum.

My first reaction was penalty - bt the replays prove the ref correct imo - Gerrard was going to ground before the contact was made.
