Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

4 points dished out tonight. Chelsea are gonna have a game on their hands at Goodison. Everton will hardly fear them

Absolutely. I can see that match being extremely physical. The crowd should be raucous and neither side can afford to lose.

    Roll on Thursday!

Games like tonight are the reason why nobody other than United deserves to win the league. Here's Chelsea with the chance to be level on points with United by Thursday night and put real pressure on yet they go and bottle it. If a team can't go out and beat a team like Wigan at home when they simply must then they don't deserve to be champions.

The same goes for Arsenal given their last 13 games or so.

still all to play for - if chelsea win their next two games United will be under massive pressue.

I ain't counting any chickens yet. That glass is half freaking empty.

Some tricky games left, Wigan may not be finished spoiling peoples parties.
In saying that, Chelsea need to step up a gear, and I dont know if Grant is capable of it.

Ah well United can afford to lose to Chelsea and still win the title, it can't have been made any easier for them.

They could afford to lose to them before last nights game as their goal difference is too big.

Yeah but now they can afford to lose 19-0 and still be champs. Could happen.

Wait til you see wigan wont need result on the last day they will be safe. And if United need a result and (considering how bad the pitch was for the Arsenal game) Steve Bruce will get out on the JJB Pitch and roll it himself if he needs to so they can play nice champagne football to win the premiership!

Tbh, thats very unlikely at this stage. Chelsea draw with everton on Thursday and Man U beat Blackburn, Man U would only need a draw at Chelsea to secure the title.

Its not as if Wigan really put up a fight to Chelsea last night anyway, Its just Chelsea were not able to finish them off and were punished at the death. Man U had the same sort of game lately against Derby, except they were able to hold out.

Yeah, if that happens... Everton aren't in great form themselves, and Blackburn away is always a tough game.

    Far from over.
