King's Channel / Maypark path?

Is there a riverside walk being constructed around the King's Channel? It seemed fenced off the other week and there was some kind of construction work going on.

Is that down by Riverwalk/SuperQuinn? Then yes, they are constrcuting a new walkway with lighting due to its popularity.
