Are these as good as the cans/bottles? Heineken is my drink but last time i got one of these i didn't think it was good at all, was all foamy, and i did have it in the fridge. any info/advice on them would be great...

€10.99 in Tesco Youghal also. I found they were foamy when warm but if put in the freezer for 20 - 30 minutes then result.

NOticed them today in Tesco Letterkenny also. Who also have Warsteiner back in stock - 24 x 330ml bottles for €19.99.

They fit fine in a chest freezer, leave in for about 3 to 4 hours and it pours some really nice pints. Can't go wrong for 10.99!

Very true but speeding up the process is never a bad thing :)

To get rid of the foam you really have to dump the very first bit coming out, you will see barmen do the same. They knock the tap and then put the glass under. It is like some foam is in the tubes, and if it gets out it "grows" if bubbles are already there.

Good price. 5L is 10 cans or just over 15 330ml bottles

Thats not always the case, depends on the level of gas goin into it! Couldn't do that with one of te taps in the place I work or you'd never get a head on it at all! And generally the head doesn't stay on a pint of Heineken for long!!!

Ya got in on the same deal down in Clonmel Tesco aswell... theres no way the keg would see its BBD! haha...

Make sure your cool them!.. I throw mine into the freezer while I drinking it - as otherwise you get glasses of foam... but its grand cause you'll have it gone before it freezes.. all good!... :D

Can anyone confirm if these are back in Maynooth/Celbridge or Edenderry branches. None left in Maynooth branch last night.

given that they've only been reduced in price due to the short dating on them i'd say once they're gone in a tesco they're gone, my local one rathfarnham only had a couple left after I bought 2 the other day.

    All gone in Coonagh! :(

To console yourself, you can get a 24 * 500ml cans of Heini for €36.99! (They're in the Christmas wrappings. BB 07/08) Just over €1.50 a can:D
