How do you take care of your stocks? Anybody have anything special they do to keep the wood lustrous and shiny?

Don't bang it off stuff! :D

Keep all the various solvents and oils you use on the barrel off the wooden bits.

DURC's rifles get a going over with linseed oil every now and again, they seem to like it.

Ah yes, linseed oil, used that on woodeny things before, should do a nice job, cheers. :)

Started using linseed oil on DURC's stocks years ago, but for my pistol grip, I use creamed beeswax these days. The rifles however, are all aluminium and laminate, very low maintenance, just a wipedown after training.

    Birchwood Casey Tru-Oil Kit

Complete kit to refinish your stock.

Also heard Hoppes is very good but I have no personal experience of it
