NIB closing branches

Just want to see what the feeling is out there. NIB have stated that they are closing their branches in O'Connell St - Dublin, Dowra, Mohill and Drumshanbo in Leitrim and Ramelton in Co Donegal. Coming from Leitrim I don't think it's desirable to be closing the Dowra branch and absorbing the business into Carrick On…

Just want to see what the feeling is out there. NIB have stated that they are closing their branches in O'Connell St - Dublin, Dowra, Mohill and Drumshanbo in Leitrim and Ramelton in Co Donegal. Coming from Leitrim I don't think it's desirable to be closing the Dowra branch and absorbing the business into Carrick On Shannon. It's a long way from Dowra to Carrick. I wouldn't be so concerned about Mohill and Drumshanbo because there are other banks who can cope with the overspill. Same with O'Connell St in Dublin. I understand branches have to make a profit but as long they are making some they should be kept open especially in rural areas. Any opinions?
