Occasionally I use eircoms site for various tasks.
But ,whats really annoying is that more and more ,the links on their pages don't work.
All I get is a click doubler ,does this mean their site was hacked ?

I haven't looked at their site in a long time but back then (and possibly still now) it used session IDs in the URL and made linking to a page more tricky.
I hope it was hacked. Serve the scum right!

Thanks ,the url's begin with http://clk.tradedoubler.com

Happens only on certain pages and nearly all important links on these pages.

That's an ad server for serving ads to the pages.

I doubt they are but they could be removing the pages and linking them to ads instead to generate revenue. I don't know why they would do that. I'm sure Google would be none too pleased if they were as regards their placing in search results.

Most likely, its just some weird error on their part that nobody told them about yet or that they haven't worked out yet.

Cheers ,I've not reported it .

One thing thats worse than getting older ,is trying to communicate with eircom.

I hate those links  And they're worse than some because instead of having http://clk.tradedoubler.com?url=http://properlink.com, they use a number.

Is it only some links, if so which ones? If it's all of them, do you have a custom hosts file or have you set yer browser to block images etc from tradedoubler?

    It is what it's.

Do you happen to be using adblock with Firefox?
