    Hey All,

Here's some information about 'Aspartame' (E number E951) - it's an artificial sweetener used in many sugar-free products (including diet soft-drinks).

There's a lot of evidence which suggests that these products can be very harmful to your health.

Big time. I read about this a few years ago. All artificial sweetners are bad for you.

    I stick to water...

I prefer an all natural drink, thousands of years old, contains only water, hopps barley, malt and a touch of yeast for flavour.

All of which are rich in nutrients and are believed to have anti-anti-oxidant properties when used as part of a controlled re-tox diet.

I can't say I know many people who drink beer because they're health-conscious! :p That said, drinking beer does have pros and cons.

If you're interesting in reading about both sides of the argument:

Everyhting in moderation is the mantra at the end of the day. Aspartame is scary though.
