E46 Faulty Stereo Head Unit

Hi all, I have a "Professional" head unit - that has a faulty channel. The speaker and connections to the stereo are fine - and I even put another head unit in - and all was fine. Does anybody know if this is repairable? Or where to get a replacement without paying crazy money? It's a Becker BMW unit. Thanks, Keith.
