12 players currently at a Barclays Premier League club...

    ...have a runners-up medal in the CL which they received at a club other than the one they currently play for.

    To avoid confusion:

    1. The player must have either started the final or started on the bench.
    2. They must currently be part of a PL squad.
    3. They must have been on the losing side in a CL final for a club other than their current one
    4. Pay no attention to formation, believe me this side would be a bit unbalanced!

    Does Crespo count if he's on loan but still a Chelsea player? I assume he doesn't as he's not in the Chelsea 'squad'.

    I knew Kanu and VDS but had to resort to Google for Cudicini. :o So there's 15 players if you don't count Crespo.

    I nip out to work and have and come back to say Mendieta should be included to make it 13 and you've got to 15!!!

    Cudicini is a great shout, Aurelio was completely missed by the bloke who told me this.

    Crespo doesn't count as he's not currently part of a PL squad...:p

    Suppose he'd have to, even though he's taking the piss at Fulham...:D
