Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Im doing the dip next year and though i'd be able to teach junior cert maths as i have it to second year in my degree but apparently this isnt allowed anymore, does anyone know if I got extra credits in maths (but not a new degree) from the open university would the teaching council then allow me to teach it. without it i only have junior cert science and biology which doesnt seem alot.

best thing to do would be to contact the teaching council and ask. They would probably have to have a look at what maths modules you have already done and what you would need to do to become qualified in maths.

I'm doing a maths degree at the moment with OU and there is a guy on one of my courses doing exactly that, only he has an IT degree with some maths in it, so he's taking extra maths courses to make up the shortfall as such.
