    Hi,

How old does a car have to be and how much mileage (if any) does it have to have on the clock before you can import it from the UK?

i.e Can you import a brand new car with 10 miles on the clock?

    Mike.

You can import any car you like but if you import a car which has under 6000km on the clock you are liable for VAT and VRT as it is deemed to be brand new.

    Cheers,

Now what if it is a commercial vehicle and I would not be liable for VAT anyway? How does that work?

    Mike.
