I heard the building being built beside Pizza Hut was going to be a McDonalds drive through. Never really liked either Surpermacs or McDonalds myself though but I was in Pizza Hut once and the pizza I got was good.

I've had cheap frozen supermarket piazzas that tasted better than the muck they sell in Pizza Hut.

The Fast Food Song finally makes sense now. They were actually singing it about Carraroe Retail Park.

I heard an interview on the radio a while back with the owner of Supermacs & he was talking about the sauce they use on the burgers in Supermacs. In Dublin, it's the usual (or at least what I'd term 'usual') ketchup and mayonaisse, while in the West, they use what he termed "culchie sauce" or "burger sauce", which is (I've been told) a mix of mayonaisse & thousand island dressing. So, I now call their burgers "culchie burgers".

Its just Mary (Marie) Rose sauce.
Mayonaise, Ketchup and possibly tabasco!

I heard that the building being built was for McDonalds Drive thru.I work up in the retail park and my manager heard it was Mc D's and also I heard it before Christmas from someone who used to work in Mc D's that they were planning a drive thru up there.

OP - Where did you hear that it was going to be a Supermacs?

I don't generally eat takeaways. Maybe once/ twice a year.. last year I'd a KFC and a Pizza Yuk. Might give the Laterns a bash this year.

We don't usually go to fast food places either but 4 Lanterns is ok..... as far as fast food goes.

Sooooooo.......anyyyyyyywaaayyyyyyy.....my Marie Rose is a bit of ketchup a bit of mayo and a bit of soya. It aint callled Marie Rose, or Culchie or Burger or Big 4 sauce. Its called pink sauce.
