lapsed time on a name

    quick question how long does someone have to be inactive for before you can have their name?

    the user Patrick hasn't logged in since last may, and if the name was available I'd like it please..

    I would be slow to reassign that name as the suer has made 186 posts between 2001 and 2007. He may just be lurking.

    It he was a member for a couple of months and made a few posts we could make a call on it. This one is more difficult.
