Bluebell Forest Floor season.

    Bluebells will be springing up on forest floors in the next few weeks and its one of natures most amazing shows I think in Ireland (along with the technicolour heather right now).

    If you have some lovely local forests with bluebells showing up..please post them here!!

    Thanks for the reminder. I miss this most years, despite my area surrounded by forests. Cannot wait for it this year!

    I see the green stalks are pushing up through the forest floor now. Not long to go now. Hopefully the higher temparatures will bring them out by this weekend.

    Nothing here yet but spotted daisys for the first time in a while, was hoping the warmer weather would encourage the bluebells up in the coming week.

    Kilanthomas Wood, near my home, bluebells and wild garlic.
