Steel Wire Mesh

    Hi,
    I need to get some steel mesh for the railings in the front garden. I was hoping to obtain black steel mesh to go with the railings. I have only seen galvanised and green colours available in the usual DIY shops. Does anyone know where I could get a roll of black steel mesh? I would rather avoid having to paint it myself!

    chicken wire is usually okay unpainted

    I think you are referring to chainlink mesh, I have never seen black chainlink either, its always galv or green plastic coated, there is a place in NI that makes it, forget the name but they may be able to help.
