Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi im looking for examples of void and voidable marriages anyone got any links of cases any help appreciated

    a relative tried to have his 3year marriage annulled.
    He did so on the basis that his wife married him with no intention of ever having children. In the eyes of the catholic church the only reason for marriage is to procreate. His claim was that the union was entered into under false pretenses.

    In the end he had to settle for divorce:eek:

    Void Marraiges are marriages that were never valid to begin with, example bigamy.
    Voidable would be marriages that could be voided by a court for specfic reasons such as failure to consumate the marriage etc.
