Halfords "Free" service for bikes?

    Alright, so my brother has a carrera vulcan mountain bike which was bought in December and it came with a free service provided by halfords. Has anyone actually got a bike "serviced" there, and if so was it worth the effort. Personally i think it'd be a waste of time and that they'd probably do very little, but my 'rents need a little more convincing.

    okay here is what you want to hear, halfords are **** etc, they wont service it etc, they will actually remove parts from the bike and replace them with rubbish parts etc, dont bring it up etc, they will charge you etc, no customer service etc, hellfrauds etc,drugged up-monkeys etc........:rolleyes:


    its a free service, which if you read your manual:rolleyes:
    probably says its part of a warranty like a FSH on a car:)
    oh yes its free.


    so you are trying to convince your parents not to bring it up??? why??
    that sevice is only valid for 3 months anyways so, they wont do it anyways so no i would bother bringing it up:rolleyes:
