    Need advice on performance mods for a sohc civic coupe 99!!!!Any help would be much appreciated thanks!!

    not much point on an sohc to be honest, save your money and get a b16 dohc lump in there!

    Get a B18C Lump or a K20 for it, if your making a job out of it..

    B20 bottom end, Type-r head, wiring + hondata + remap.

    Good base for a tubby honda :)

    I assume the op has insurance issues or he would have bought a type R in the first place, if not then K20 it is :D

    also a good option if insurance allows

    if an engine swap isnt viable then breathing mods such as a spoon drop in filter, cold air feed, after market manifold and cat back exhaust, decat the car. then look to handling improvements
