    I always thought the live announcements on the Mk3's are much more personal than the canned ones on the mk4.

    I was wondering if you could settle a debate that has been going on for quite a while. The message the bus says as the luggage doors open. Does it say

    "stand clear, luggage doors operating"

    or

    "stand clear, luggage doors operate"

    Email I sent to Bus Eireann. Best way to settle a debate is by going to the source.

    We were on a bus home once and it got stuck on repeat, listening to that for two f*cking hours

    After looking at the video of the door closing, using bus eireann for a couple years before i drove and being a culshie, I can confirm that the word is indeed operating.
