Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Would expect a DLP type thing with GTA , makes sense really.

I doubt MSFT actually care about anyone not on live as far as they concerned they pirates.

Quick math 6 million people play on live a day at 7.50ish a month = mucho casho.

So what if people have cracked consoles Live is the product they selling and Xboxes and i bet every cracked xbox owner has a working xbox or a live account ...win win really.

A lot of people without internet access may very well buy a ps3 if they were not able to play GTAIV on the xbox without it. Even those who already own an xbox but have no access could rush out to buy a ps3 just to play the game, putting a lot of money into Sony's pockets . Not good business sense imo.

The last thing MS would want is to increase the amount of ps3 owners.

I don't think any games actually require you to connect to the internet for an update (perhaps the Orange box, not 100% sure on that)
If you're connected and insert a game which has had a patch released for it, then live will automatically detect that there's a new path for that particular game and prompt you to update. If you're not connected to live, you should just be able to dive straight into the game without being prompted...
