Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    A pelican is a big old bird. Bird strikes are scary thing. Saw one lately on a 152during takeoff. The Instructor put it back down on the runway immediately. There was a huge dent on the leading edge of the wing.

    The report mentioned it happened at 3000 feet which they considered surprising. Last week I saw seagulls circling at 2000 feet presumably on a thermal, well out of my flight path luckily. Airline pilots have reported birds up around 20000 feet:eek:
