    well, we went to The Bakery recently to give it another try as we heard it is under new management. WOW! Fantastic!
    This restaurant had a brilliant rep many years ago but has had a series of messers running it for the past few years and it became very run of the mill with very high prices. I am so pleased that the current owner is doing a great job in rebuilding the reputation. Our meal was the best we have had in a long time. The atmosphere was excellent and the wine list is very well thought through. We can not fault it. At last Wicklow has somewhere special to dine in. :D

    A well considered menu of chicken, duck, fillet steak, fresh fish and vegetable dishes. All the meat and fish are sourced locally and we were informed that nothing is cooked in advance. All deserts are made on the premises too! What more could you ask for.

    We were in there a few months ago,the food was excellent,staff were both friendly and efficient and the cost was very reasonable.
