ATI sapphire HD 2400 pro Need help

    Have this card running with vista32bit, was running on Xp fine, but since upgrade cant get the pc to work on the tv, getting mode not supported error.

    Suggestions are welcome please,,.....

    sorry forgot to say that,, i downloaded the latest drivers and seems to be working fine apart from the tv. my monitor is working fine connected to the same card. Now though the option to add a second monitor is now not available either

    make sure you get the latest ones for your os

    how are you connecting the card to the tv S-video Hdmi vga dvi?

    connecting using dvi, also tried vga with no joy. I tried the drivers twice, even took the card out and re fitted

    use that

    uninstall the drivers with ati whatever
    use driver cleaner pro to remove ANYTHING with ati in it

    restart

    reinstall drivers.

    get back to us how that worked.

    got it to work on the tv now using the lowest resolution and restarting etc but still cant have multiple monitors like before? and its sayin my display adapter is standard VGA adapter,, it should be the new ATI one shouldn't it? guessing i should have taken the old one out?

    yeah as i said nuke the drivers and that should sort it out

    tried ultramon,, it wont let me 'enable the second monitor' the pc is working with the tv but i cant change resolution or have different screens. I have removed and installed the new drivers a few time from http://game.amd.com/us-en/drivers_catalyst.aspx?p=vista32/common-vista32

    Its not even appearing in my device manager but still working well sort of

    This still isnt sorted. ATI now says it should be installed on a fresh install of vista, i installed vista upgrade from xp. what you think i should do?
