i used to hate cricket till a mate brought me along to the Ashes in Sydney and explained the rules and scoring system. Its not as difficult as you'd think and I now find it a good game to watch, in saying that its best to be there live.

I like curling, used to watch it when I lived in Canada. It's quite good. Cricket is great too, started watching it when I moved down here. AFL f*cking SUCKS. It's not quite as bad as GAA though, at least it's professional and the players aren't as ugly.

I can't stand people's ignorance to American football. It's a great tactical game and very very intricate. And they wear all that gear because of the tackles that are allowed, and not allowed in egg-chasing!

It's not a sport. It started out when an ice hockey coach didn't want to let two dumb dumbs on the team and gave them a game to play to keep them busy. It also has the handy benefit of scrubbing the ice rink. Unfortunately things have since gone out of hand with Olympics and so on.
